Following on from the trip to Yarrawonga, Team WA headed for the City of Churches to contest the A Class National Championships. We remember sailing at West Lakes from the 2016 Nationals and were looking forward to sailing in clear waters with good wind.

West Lakes didn’t disappoint......

WA's Glenn Dawson has added another Australian Championship trophy to the WA cabinet after winning the 2020 International A Class Australian Championship at West Lakes, SA over 26-27 February.

Sean Wallis completed a brilliant regatta coming out on top of the field to win the 2020 Australian Marblehead National Championship held in Yarrawonga. Sean's odyssey began with a trip to New Zealand......

Victoria's Kirwan Robb went back to back in the ARYA Ten Rater National Championships. Kirwan sailed especially well through some trying conditions. Scott Condie from Kogarah Bay finished second, sailing a Trance - the same design of boat as Kirwan. Steve Sedgmen rounded out the podium, sailing his own design Sanga.

February has for a while now been the traditional time for the Australian Championships for radio sailing classes and this year is a little different but Team WA will still be heading East!
